| I have been working at Lane Cove Chiropractic since July 2009. I had never seen a Chiropractor and knew very little about what it was, or what it had to offer. The first four months were a wonderful experience for me where I attended Chiropractic seminars, weekend team retreats, met lots of wonderful people, and quickly saw the benefits of Chiropractic care. Since starting my own Chiropractic care I have greater energy levels, I sleep better and my posture is improving. My immune system is strong and I don’t get sick as often, I know all this is because Mark and Julie give me regular adjustments. I now believe regular Chiropractic Care is so important and I talk about its benefits so much at home, my fiancé now has regular adjustments too, and is absolutely astonished that we had never heard of Chiropractic before now. My goal is to educate family, friends, our practice members and the community on the health benefits of being under Chiropractic Care. It’s NOT a secret we should keep to ourselves! |
I have been working at Lane Cove Chiropractic as an Assistant since 2007; throughout this period my knowledge of Chiropractic has developed and strengthened. I am currently studying Chiropractic at Macquarie University and have been doing so for four years now. Prior to commencing study I began my own chiropractic schedule, and since this period Chiropractic improved my health and general well-being. In addition, my range of motion has increased, I am more flexible and my immune system has been given a lifting. I value working for Lane Cove Chiropractic not only because it delivers a fun and interactive environment but I also witness the benefits and the improved health of our practice members the natural and innate way. |

| I have been working at Lane Cove Chiropractic as an assistant since May 2008. During my first few months here, I learned much that corrected any previous misconceptions that I had about chiropractic. Since then I have been adjusted regularly and have felt many positive changes, physically and emotionally. I feel very lucky to have joined such a great team and an energetic and friendly practice. The office is always full of positive energy, and I enjoy meeting new practice members come in and seeing them heal themselves and becoming more positive. I have seen pregnant women come in, and then bring their baby up with chiropractic...and the next baby after that too! The thing that I love most about working here is meeting people and families committed to their health, maintaining not only a regular chiropractic schedule, but also complementing that with a healthy lifestyle in many other ways. It has motivated me to look after myself in similar ways. |
As a professional ballet dancer in Europe I had experiences with chiropractic. However, it wasn't until my return to Australia in 2006 - when I began working at Lane Cove Chiropractic - that I began to understand the full health and wellness benefits of regular chiropractic care. I really enjoyed my time as a member of the energetic team here at Lane Cove Chiropractic, but in 2008 I was off overseas again to teach English in Brazil. I managed to find work in other chiropractic practices in Rio de Janeiro, but my constant and growing interest in chiropractic as a profession motivated me to return to Sydney this year to begin my studies to be a chiropractor. Returning to work at Lane Cove Chiropractic in 2011 feels like 'coming home', and it is great to see many old faces at the practice, as well as lots of new ones. I enjoy spreading the word about chiropractic and being part of people's healthy lifestyles. |

| As a midwife for many years I was always impressed by the effect chiropractic had on pregnant women and their improved labour outcomes. My experience working at Lane Cove Chiropractic more than 12 years ago as a Chiropractic Assistant and the dramatic and wonderful changes I witnessed in peoples health led me to a career change into chiropractic. I commenced part-time study in 1997 at Macquarie University, in an attempt to create a balance between study and spending time with my two children Mia and Hanna and also my work in midwifery. My particular interest is in adjusting pregnant women and also young children. I give regular talks about Chiropractic in relation to pregnancy at our office and in the Lane Cove community. It's great being part of the Lane Cove Chiropractic team, who love coming to work and assisting people to better health. |
After completing my Diagnostic Radiography degree in 1979, I learned about Chiropractic from a colleague whose brother was a Chiropractor. After spending a day watching him in practice and discussing Chiropractic with him, I knew I had found my calling. I graduated from the Sydney College of Chiropractic in 1984 and have been practicing in Lane Cove ever since. Besides my work here at Lane Cove Chiropractic, I am a Director and Board member of the National Chiropractor’s Association, Secretary of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation, and a committee member of The NSW Chiropractor’s Registration Board. I am also involved in lecturing and tutoring at Macquarie University in the Department of Health and Chiropractic. In addition to this I also regularly speak at professional conferences and seminars around Australia. I am married to Julie who is also my partner here at Lane Cove Chiropractic and we have two beautiful daughters. I enjoy sport and have a background in Rugby Union and athletics. I exercise and get adjusted regularly, and even compete in events like the City to Surf, half marathons and the occasional triathlon. |
